Communications
Interoperability
In general, interoperability
refers to the ability of emergency
responders to work seamlessly with other
systems or products without any special
effort. Wireless communications
interoperability specifically refers to the
ability of emergency response officials to
share information via voice and data signals
on demand, in real time, when needed, and as
authorized.
To enhance interoperability
in Grant County, Emergency Management works
with public safety agencies to plan for and
implement interoperable communications
solutions. The current level of
interoperability in Grant County is achieved
through shared channel planning.
To maintain radio system
security, specific frequencies and other
codes are not published on this website.
Grant County Public Safety
agencies may contact either our office, Day
