Mission Numbers

Washington State Emergency Management Division Mission Numbers are assigned to local volunteer emergency response agencies for all actions intended to protect life, property, and the environment during the incident period of any emergency or disaster event. Mission numbers will be used by Grant County for the duration of the incident response and recovery periods.

When to Request a Mission Number

• Major fires

• Floods

• Physical rescue incidents (high angle/trench/confined space)

• Bomb threats/explosions

• Search & Rescue incidents

• Hazardous materials spills/releases

• Radiological releases

• Public health emergencies

• Train/rail incidents

• Mass casualty incidents

• Disaster response/recovery incidents
