Grant County Surplus Auction Purchase Policies

• Payment must be made via PayPal and received within five business days of completion of the auction.

• No returns or refunds. All sales are final.

• The item(s) listed is surplus to the needs of Grant County. There's no viewing of the item prior to the winning bidder picking it up.

Grant County Surplus Pickup / Shipping

Pickup Directions:

LOCAL PICKUP strongly recommended.

Pick up time is on Wednesdays between 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Picture ID, sales receipt, and the TITLE OF THIS AUCTION must be presented at time of pick up. The item(s) must be removed from Grant County property within two weeks after the end of the auction or the winning bidder forfeits any and all rights to the property including any money paid to Grant County. NOTE: Grant County will not secure your load, provide material to do so, or give an opinion as to whether or not your load is adequately or safely secured.

GCTS is located on the 3rd floor of the Annex building between the Courthouse and the Law & Justice Building. Please notify any employee in GCTS that you are there to pick up your item.

Shipping Options:

Packaging and shipping are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. If the winning bidder prefers shipping, they can contact the shipping center below to arrange and pay for packaging and shipping (dimensions are included in the item description). The winning bidder forfeits any and all rights to the property and any money paid to Grant County if the item is not removed within two weeks after the auction ends.

It is strongly recommended that potential bidders requesting shipping receive an estimate on packaging and shipping prior to bidding. Bidders interested in price quotes prior to bidding can contact the shipping center below at any time. The following is contact information for a local shipping center who has agreed to ship auction items:

Services: Packaging and shipping via FedEx, UPS, and US Postal Service. Also able to arrange for freight shipping.
Payment: Goin' Postal accepts payment through personal credit card or PayPal.
Shipping\Handling Cost Estimate: S\H estimate costs to North Carolina $60.

At the end of the auction, the winning bidder may contact the shipping center and arrange for shipping. Once the shipping center has been contacted, they will acquire the item, then package and prepare it for shipment. These fees will be included in their shipping charge. Items shipped by the shipping center are "as is" as stated in the auction. Buyer assumes full responsibility of the item's condition and the shipping service offered.

IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING, PLEASE CONTACT THE SHIPPING CENTER THAT WAS USED.
